Release date of upcoming Malayalam movie ‘Pooramam’ has been postponed again. Popular south Indian actor Kalidas Jayaram, who plays the lead role in this film, confirmed that the release date of his upcoming film has been shifted. Revealing information about the same, the actor wrote on social media that the release date has been postponed due to some technical problems.
Originally, the movie was earlier scheduled to be released by the end of December last year. Because of some unknown reasons, filmmakers pushed ahead the release date. According to the new schedule, the Malayalam film was about to be released on 9th March this year. Filmmakers made changes in the release date recently and confirmed that the film won’t release on March 9, 2018.
Directed by Abrid Shine, ‘Pooramam’ is a Malayalam language film which features Kunchacko Boban, Meera Jasmine and Manju Warrier in the lead cast. The film has been jointly produced by Paul Varghese and Abrid Shine. The film’s shooting had begun on September 12, 2016 in Ernakulam, part of south Indian state ‘Kerala’. Filmmakers wrapped up the shooting schedule in year 2017, but didn’t finalize the release date for it.
On career front, Kalidas Jayaram is gearing up for his next Tamil film ‘Oru Pakka Kathai’. The movie has been produced by K. S. Sreenivasan under the banner of ‘Visual Ventures’. Directed by famous south Indian filmmaker Balaji Tharaneetharan, the Tamil language movie features Megha Akash, Jeeva Ravi, Lakshi Priya Menon and Meena in the lead roles. Release date of this movie is also yet to be confirmed by the filmmakers.
Kalidas is also prepping up for his next Malayalam movie which is an untitled Alphonse Puthren Film. The filmmakers haven’t revealed any details about the movie. Script writing work is under progress and soon the crew members will tell something about the movie. Details about the artists in lead roles is awaited.
